Maypole Dancing

In time honoured tradition. Performed by the children of Surrey Hills School. This will follow on from the Crowning of the May Queen

3.00 pm Medieval Falconry Display

'Hawk on the Wild Side’ based in Dorking

In medieval times, falconry was not just a sport for the nobility, it was a vital skill. Their birds of prey provided a vital source of fresh meat for the table. But, they were also a symbol of prestige. Watch with awe and wonder as ‘Hawk on the Wild Side’ demonstrate these birds’ amazing flying abilities. And learn about their lives in Medieval times.

Jonathan Cann is joining us once again with his modern take on Punch and Judy. These shows are enjoyed by people of all ages and the show ends with all understanding the moral of the story.

3.45 pm Punch & Judy

A not-quite repeat of the earlier show. Jonathan Cann slightly changes every show using ideas from the children.
